As a counselor, Chuck specializes in somatic oriented therapies. He is a Certified Bioenergetic Therapist and is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Emotional Transformation Therapy (ETT). Chuck is an Approved Training Analyst, supervisor and member of the faculty of the International Institute for Bioenergetic Analysis. He has served as Director of Training for the Dallas Society for Bioenergetic Analysis. Chuck has co-led therapy groups at The Pacific Northwest Bioenergetic Conference and The Southern California Bioenergetic Conference. He has also presented workshops at these conferences as well as at conferences of The International Institute for Bioenergetic Analysis. Currently Chuck serves on the Ethics Committee of the International Institute for Bioenergetic Analysis. Chuck's experience of over thirty years and his dual certifications as a Certified Advanced Rolfer and Certified Bioenergetic Therapist have prepared him to work in a unique and powerfully effective manner with his clients. His areas of special interest are anger and rage, self esteem, men's issues, sexuality and sexual abuse, performance anxiety, and couple counseling. Prior to his interest in psychotherapy and Rolfing, Chuck earned a Ph.D. in mathematics and taught at Ohio University and Arizona State University. In his rare spare moments, Chuck can be found biking or taking early morning walks, listening to jazz, classical music or the blues or getting his hands dirty in his garden.
